As with any other submission to a publication, you should first familiarize yourself with what we do. Note, for example, the fact that we're located in
Memphis, have plenty of Memphis clubs on the site, but none located on Beale Street. Get it?
Some of the most fun, wild, and out of the way places we've seen preferred to stay that way. You should make sure that whoever or wherever you're writing about knows what's going on and approves. We respect the choices of venues, performers, and private citizens to stay under the radar. We don't want to alert the revenue man or the other man about all the fun being had.
If you're not sure that what you're sending us will work, e-mail it in before posting. Of course we always reserve the right to remove any article that doesn't meet our standards. Good ol' profanity is encouraged, but racism, sexism, and advertisements are unwelcome.
